Eevee's eight evolutions are one of the most-collected families in Pokemon, so the question comes up constantly: which Eeveelution is actually worth the most? Because all eight share the same rarity tiers and the same release cadence, it is a fair fight. It is also not close.
The ranking
We took the median trend price of every printing of all eight, so one vintage chase card cannot skew the result. The order is clear: Umbreon €62, Espeon €22, Sylveon €11, Flareon €10, Vaporeon €9.51, Jolteon €8.65, Glaceon €6.62, and Leafeon €5.68. Umbreon is number one by a wide margin. The Umbreon premium
A typical Umbreon trades at about 2.8x a typical Espeon, 5.6x a Sylveon, and 10.9x the cheapest Eeveelution (Leafeon), which works out to roughly 6.3x the typical Eeveelution overall. On top of that, 30% of all Umbreon printings are worth €100 or more. The gap is not rarity, since all eight share the same tiers. It is pure demand: Umbreon, with its dark moonlit look, is simply the most wanted of the eight.
The twist: Espeon owns the single priciest card
Here is the honest wrinkle. Espeon actually holds the single most expensive Eeveelution card, its vintage Gold Star (Espeon ★, POP Series 5) at around €5,791, just above Umbreon's €4,990. Yet Umbreon still wins on the typical card. Why? Those vintage Gold Star prices are thin and illiquid, a handful of sales rather than a deep market, so one eye-watering number does not make the whole name valuable. So are your Eevee cards worth money?
It depends entirely on the exact printing. Most modern Eeveelution holos are single-digit euros, and the real money sits in the vintage Gold Stars and a few chase alternate arts. So do not assume any Umbreon is a jackpot, and do not overlook an old Espeon. The name tells you the demand curve is high; the exact card tells you the price.
How to value an Eeveelution
- Pin the exact printing: which Eeveelution, the set and card number, and whether it is a Gold Star or an alternate art.
- Filter to English, Near Mint or better.
- Average the four lowest current offers for that exact card. That is its real price.
