Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Foilio (the “Service”), an independent, unofficial fan tool for scanning, searching, valuing and tracking trading cards. By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

What Foilio is

Foilio helps you identify cards, look up reference prices, track a collection, and make rip / hold / grade / trade decisions across multiple games. The core, including the card scanner, multi-game search, prices and collection tracking, is free to use. Foilio Pro is an optional paid tier that adds depth features.

Prices are estimates, not advice

Every price, value and verdict on Foilio is an independent reference estimate derived from free, attributed catalog data, not a sale record, a quote, or an offer to buy or sell. Markets move constantly and our data can be delayed or wrong. Nothing on Foilio is financial, investment, or tax advice. Decisions you make about buying, selling, grading, or “investing” in cards are your own, at your own risk. Verify anything important against the actual marketplace before you act.

Foilio Pro subscription

• Pro is a recurring subscription. The founding price is €3.99/month or €29/year; standard pricing is €7.99/month (€59/year). Taxes may apply depending on your location.
• New subscriptions may start with a 7-day free trial. If a trial is offered, you are not charged during it, and it automatically converts to a paid subscription at the end unless you cancel before it ends.
• The subscription auto-renews at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the period already paid for.
• Manage or cancel through the billing portal linked in your account (payments handled by Stripe). If you subscribed through an app store, manage it in that store’s subscription settings, and that store’s refund and billing rules also apply.
• We may change Pro pricing or features going forward; founding members keep the founding price for as long as their subscription stays active. Price changes never apply to a period you have already paid for.

Acceptable use

Use Foilio for your own lawful collecting and selling activity. Do not abuse, overload, scrape at scale, or attempt to break the Service or its data providers; do not resell or redistribute our data as a competing database; do not misuse the community features (no spam, harassment, or illegal content). We may suspend access that harms the Service or other users.

Your content and data

Your collection and account data are yours. How we handle them is described in our Privacy Policy. If you post to community features, you grant us permission to display that content within the Service.

Intellectual property

Foilio is an independent, unofficial fan project and is not produced by, endorsed by, or affiliated with any trading-card-game publisher, marketplace, or grading company. Card names, images and game trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and reference. Card data and images come from free third-party catalog sources, credited in the app, under their terms.

Affiliate links

Some outbound buy links earn Foilio a small commission at no extra cost to you, exactly as described in our affiliate disclosure. Commissions never change the prices or verdicts we show.

No warranty; limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that prices, matches, or availability are accurate, complete, or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Foilio and its operator are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make based on the Service; and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before it arose.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the date above reflects the latest version, and continued use means you accept the changes. These terms are governed by the laws of the operator’s jurisdiction (Bulgaria, European Union), without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your own country of residence.
