How does the trade calculator work?+
Paste both sides of the trade. We value each card at market reference prices (Cardmarket EUR via pokemontcg.io, Scryfall, YGOPRODeck), total each side, and show who comes out ahead and by how much. Within 10% counts as fair.
What prices does it use?+
Free reference prices only, the median printing per card name, never sold or marketplace data. A name spans many printings, so verify the exact set on the valuable cards before you shake on it.
Why is a trade 'fair' within 10%?+
Reference prices are estimates and condition varies, so small gaps aren't meaningful. We flag a trade as fair within 10% of the larger side, and show the exact € difference when it's wider.
Does it work for Pokémon, Magic and Yu-Gi-Oh?+
Yes, pick the game and it values that game's cards. Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh use Cardmarket EUR; Magic uses Scryfall.
