A free card tool that's honest by design

Foilio is a free, independent tool for trading card collectors and sellers across Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece and Disney Lorcana. Search any card, scan a stack, track a collection's value, check whether a card is worth grading, and turn cards into listings — no account required. This page explains exactly how it works and where every number comes from.

Where our data comes from

Every card detail, image and price on Foilio is pulled from free, openly-available catalog APIs and attributed to its source. We never scrape marketplaces, and we never invent a number.

Scryfall

Magic: The Gathering card data, images and prices (EUR/USD).

pokemontcg.io

Pokémon card data and prices, including Cardmarket EUR trend and TCGplayer-derived USD.

YGOPRODeck

Yu-Gi-Oh! card data and prices.

Lorcast

Disney Lorcana card data and prices (with required Ravensburger attribution).

Api TCG

One Piece and several other games' card catalogs (catalog data, not prices).

PSA Public API

PSA certification and population lookups on the grading page.

Our honesty principles

Estimates are estimates. Any value or ROI figure is a transparent model estimate built from reference data — not a sold comparable, and never financial advice.
Scanning identifies, it doesn't authenticate. The scanner tells you which printing a card is. It cannot confirm a card is genuine or assign it a grade — that still takes your own eyes and, for valuable cards, a professional grader.
TOS-clean data only. We use openly-available APIs and your own collection data. We don't scrape marketplaces, resell their data, or arbitrage.
Independent and unaffiliated. Foilio is an independent fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by PSA, BGS, CGC, Cardmarket, eBay, TCGplayer, or any game publisher. All trademarks belong to their owners.

How we write our guides

Our guides are original, plain-English, and held to the same honesty bar as the tools: no invented statistics, prices or pull rates, and game-specific facts (rarity systems, grading scales, edition markers) are checked against authoritative sources. When we describe what a tool does, we describe what it actually does today — and flag what's still early.
