Does Pokémon publish official pull rates?+
No. Unlike Magic, the Pokémon TCG does not publish pack odds. Every figure here rides a disclosed, versioned community-sampled model (the exact version is shown on each tier page and card), presented as a range across sets rather than a single invented number.
What is the rarest Pokémon card tier?+
In the sets we model, the Mega Hyper Rare slot is the steepest single pull, followed by Hyper Rares (the gold cards) and Special Illustration Rares. Each tier page shows the exact per-set odds and the chase cards.
Should I buy singles or rip packs for a chase card?+
For a specific card, buying the single is almost always far cheaper than cracking sealed for it, because the pack odds are spread across every card in the slot. Each card's CARDCAP page gives a plain BUY / RIP verdict versus its live single price.
