Riftbound is the youngest game on this blog, and its market has already picked a winner, and it is not the rarity the packs advertise. Pull an Epic and you have a two-dollar card. Pull the right alt-art Showcase and you may be holding three months of rent.
The printed ladder is flat until the top

The Showcase tier is the real market
The alt-art Showcase treatment medians $28.73 against $0.21 for everything else, about 137x the typical card and roughly 15x the Epic tier. And it is not a thin top either: 24% of Showcase cards clear $100. In Riftbound the question is never what rarity is it, it is does it have the Showcase art.
The chase Riftbound cards
The top of the market is champion worship: Ahri, Inquisitive, in the Signature treatment trades around $2,664, and the ceiling of the whole game is Ahri, Nine-Tailed Fox, the Metal organized-play prize card, near $4,600. Prize cards and Signature Showcases of the most-loved champions carry the game.
Why the alt-art wins
Riot printed a game where the scarce treatment of a beloved champion is the collectible, and the market agreed instantly. It is the same scarce-plus-wanted recipe as the Gundam +/++ parallels and the Lorcana Enchanted premium: the treatment and the character set the price, the rarity symbol just sets the pack odds.

- Check the treatment first: base, Showcase, Signature, or a prize printing. That is most of the price.
- Filter to Near Mint or better.
- Average the four lowest current offers for that exact printing.
