The master set, adding the Showcase alt-arts and the slots above the printed number, costs $11,091 to $18,387. And the gap is widening with every release.
The divide widens every set
Origins (launch) masters at 23x its base set. Three sets later, Vendetta masters at 108x: the printed run got cheaper ($799 down to $124) while the showcase layer holds five figures. A median 71.7% of a master set's cost sits in its top 10 cards, the Signature and Ultimate slots of the game's icons, led by Ahri - Nine-Tailed Fox (Signature) at about $3,420. - All 4 main Riftbound sets via the open tcgcsv.com dataset (TCGplayer USD market prices). One reference price per numbered card: the Normal printing where present, else the Foil.
- Base = plain numbers within the set's printed denominator (Riftbound prints it on the card, “214/298”). Master = every numbered card, including the “007a”-style Showcase alt-art variants and the overnumbered slots above the denominator. Promo, judge, organized-play and bundle groups are excluded, as are sub-60-card minis (Proving Grounds, Secret Garden).
- Reference prices, not sale records or appraisals. Riftbound is months old and its prices move hard week to week; every figure is a snapshot floor for buying the set as singles. Valued 2026-08-13.
