One Piece OP-13 'Carrying On His Will' hits English in August

The English release of OP-13 is listed for August 2026 delivery, bringing Bonney and a wave of Trigger-effect cards from the Egg Head arc to Western players after the Japanese debut.

One Piece has a structural quirk most other games do not: the Japanese print lands first, then the English print follows months later, and the English cards routinely trade at a premium to their earlier Japanese counterparts. That lag is a signal. The Japanese OP-13 market has already told you which cards collectors chase, so the English pre-order window is the least uncertain buying window this game offers.

The pre-order decision is sealed versus singles. Sealed English product tends to hold or climb because print runs are finite and the reprint cadence is slower than Pokémon's, while singles let you buy exactly the chase cards without gambling on pack luck. The Egg Head arc cards, Bonney included, are the ones to price out both ways before the box lands, because the spread between a sealed case and the singles it is likely to yield is the entire trade.

The practical move is to log the Japanese prices now as your reference, set alerts on the English chase cards, and decide your sealed-versus-singles split before allocations sell through. Pre-order windows reward preparation and punish the people who wait for shelves, so the read you build in July is what pays in August.

Why it matters for your collection

English One Piece sets routinely trade at a premium over the earlier Japanese print, and the pre-order window is exactly where the sealed-versus-singles decision pays off or costs you.
