Mostly bulk under a huge ladder
Across 9,980 priced Dragon Ball Super singles in 106 sets, the median card trades at $0.35 and 70% sit under $1. Those 27 rarity tiers mostly shuffle cheap cards into different flavors of cheap. The full tier table is in the God Rare study.
The God Rare tier is the market
The exception is the God Rare, GDR on the card, a tier of just 8 cards. They median $1,500 apiece and top out at $2,067 with Power of Potara: Vegito, Kefla and Zamasu, about 4,300x the typical card in the game. One tier, eight cards, essentially all of the game's headline value.
Which Dragon Ball game do you have?
Bandai has printed two Dragon Ball card games. This post covers the original Dragon Ball Super Card Game (Masters and its earlier eras). If your cards say Fusion World on the back of the booster or use energy markers, that is the newer game with its own market, covered in are Dragon Ball Fusion World cards worth money, where the chase is the Super Alt Art parallel rather than a God Rare.
Why one tiny tier wins
A God Rare is the shortest print in the game stamped on its most iconic moments, scarce plus wanted in its purest form, the same recipe as the Gundam ++ parallel or a Lorcana Enchanted. The other 26 tiers exist for pack excitement; the GDR exists for the market.
