We took the market price of 5,115 Shadowverse Evolve singles across 49 sets. The rarity ladder is one of the cleanest in any TCG, and it hides a surprise: the top gameplay rarity is only the middle rung.
“Legendary” is the middle, not the top
Legendary is the top gameplay rarity, so you would expect it to be the chase. It is not — a Legendary medians just $2.06. Above it sit three cosmetic alt-art tiers that reprint the same competitive cards, and each is roughly a 10× cliff over the last: Ultimate $50, Special $171, Super Special $242. A Super Special is about 117× the Legendary it reprints.
