Market reference prices (median printing) — verify the exact set/condition on the big ones.

Plan the chase, not just the price

The budget planner fills cheapest-first on purpose — it's the fastest way to knock the most cards off your list for a set amount. Buying a specific deck instead? Price a full Magic decklist, or check whether a single card's asking price is fair with the deal score.

Reference estimates, not appraisals or financial advice. Foilio is an unofficial fan project — prices are independent reference figures from free catalog APIs.

Questions, answered

How does the want list valuer work?+

Paste your wishlist (one card per line, with an optional quantity like '2 Charizard ex'). Foilio looks up each card's Cardmarket EUR reference price, totals it, and sorts by where the money is. Add a budget and it shows what you can afford now (cheapest-first, to maximise the number of cards) versus what's still to go.

Where do the prices come from?+

Honest Cardmarket EUR trend prices via the free public catalog APIs (pokemontcg.io for Pokémon, Scryfall for Magic, YGOPRODeck for Yu-Gi-Oh) — reference estimates only, never sold, scraped, or marketplace-listing data.

Why EUR, and why exact card names?+

The reference is Cardmarket EUR, so totals and the budget are in EUR for a clean comparison. Enter exact card names (just the name) — a name spans many printings, so we price the median printing; a specific set, grade or condition can cost much more or less.

Is it free, and is anything saved?+

Completely free, no account, and nothing you type is stored — it runs in your browser.
