How eBay fees work on cards
On most US trading-card sales eBay charges a final value fee (≈13.25% of the total including shipping) plus a fixed $0.40 per order. If you run Promoted Listings, that ad rate comes off the top too. The fee applies to the item price and the shipping you charge, so “free shipping” isn't free to you. Your real profit is what's left after fees, the card's cost, and your actual postage.

Where do the numbers come from, are they live eBay rates?+
The fee math uses eBay's standard published US final value fee plus the per-order fixed fee, which you can edit to match your category. This tool does no scraping and uses no sold or private sales data. For card values elsewhere on Foilio we reference honest Cardmarket EUR prices via free public catalog APIs, never scraped or sold-listing data.
Is it free, and do I need an account?+
Yes, it's completely free and runs entirely in your browser, no sign-up, login or payment required. Nothing you type is sent anywhere or stored.
Does it cover Promoted Listings and free shipping?+
Yes. eBay's fee applies to the shipping you charge too, so 'free shipping' still costs you, the calculator accounts for that by including shipping in the fee base. If you run Promoted Listings, add your ad rate so it comes off the top, and the profit figure reflects it.
